two days before bro's enlistment.
Went to bugis with leon to meet mummy after her work just to get some neccesaries for the 2-weeks confinement in Tekong. we also.. went to the temple too for bro and mummy to go pray for safety..

cannot miss our usual chestnut stall in bugis too. very good!

neon-nails again. and.. i wanna have long hair back!! why? because there is someone in my house agitating me everyday.. my twin. haha. really..

the Day before enlistment..

met bro and his gf aimeefor dinner with the family..

and the MRT was DISGUSTINGLY oiled by who-knows.

Dinner.. steamboat with chicken rice at bugis. very very delicious!
wa, i dont know why good food makes me soo happy, serious.

What makes me even happier, is the time my family spent, sitting down over dinner with lots of usual nonsense and lame jokes..

the place was nice and breezy unlike the usual eating places smoking you with the grease and what-not..

Headed to Swensen's for some ice cream after dinner..
had milkshakes and Giant earthquake..
and thereafter, bought snowskin ice cream mooncakes..

Should have asked aimee to buy the mooncakes. Got a high chance they would give her this cute mooncake carrier automatically instead of the normal ones. lol

that night, we had early Lantern Festival..
no lanterns, but savoured mooncakes together :)

i just realised how much you have done for me all these while.. sometimes i cannot deny the fact that we both started from the very special and naive feelings we had for each other since we met that day.. it was when we both were so innocent and all was pure. I love that kind of feeling because the grown up world is really corrupted and its hard to find or develop such feelings .. Im just glad it was the right person, right time and place it all happened. This 2 years and 4 months havent been smooth sailing but i didnt regret it abit. love you.

On sat, my dear brother was enlisted. Daddy, mummy, aimee, row and i accompanied him to Tekong and it was my second time there (1st was Hun's). the same, sadness and the unbearable part of having to separate.. leaving him to get used to life there without us and his usual comfort. My dear brother was always up to mischieve and getting everyone laughing at his nonsense. The house is definitely much quieter but im just glad that he is taking all these well and positive. Although not the fittest of all.. his garang spirit will take him far i believe. :) Im sure he will come back fitter and he will start to change throughout the 2 years. I respect these ah bing ge(s) for the ability to hold out in the high demand for discipline and physical fitness.. and the time and effort they sacrificed for the country..(unlike girls who dont have that phase..). Oh well, we'll see him in 2 weeks time. Its quite sweet and funny to see my mummy running for the phone every night to hear about leon's news.. i bet aimee too! its just like deja-vu, like how i used to be by te phone at 10.30pm daily for Hun's call. I just hope he gets the mental strength and support he needs :)

everyday has been slack time for me. although broke, but i am enjoying these ample, in fact excessive leisure time i have to do stuffs that i have been procrastinating to do.

tml will be the first day i wake up in the aftnoon and be alone at home. usually leon would be at home too.. haha. its ok.. its not that hard i believe, cause i have gone through seeing someone through army before. What should i do tml? :)
